An Acura original warranty is for four years or 50,000 miles, which ever comes first. The basic Acura warranty is a bumper to bumper warranty that covers your vehicle against defects in materials and workmanship. Most Acura models do not come with any kind of powertrain extended warranty. In addition, normally covered parts are no longer covered if it can be proved that the addition of an aftermarket part caused the failure of an otherwise covered part or component. Even the most basic of accessories, such as an aftermarket alarm, radio or remote starter, are not covered by the Acura warranty.
