WarrantyDeals.com - Where auto warranty providers compete to give you the best deal MITSUBISHI EXTENDED WARRANTY

A basic warranty for a Mitsubishi covers everything except items that are subject to wear and tear or replacement through the ordinary course of vehicle ownership, such as oil and air filters, wiper blades, and brake pads. The basic Mitsubishi warranty for model years 2003 and earlier offers coverage for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The powertrain warranty lasts 5 years or 60,000 miles, covering major mechanical components. The Mitsubishi warranty for 2004 and newer vehicles will cover your vehicle for 5 years or 60,000 miles and gives very limited powertrain coverage for 10 years or 100,000 miles for failure of parts lubricated by flowing oil.

Consider this...
For many, the cost to repair a vehicle may be more than the owner can afford. In these situations, the owner is faced with the possibility of loosing the car entirely. Spending a few dollars more each month on an extended warranty, could provide piece of mind from such a situation occurring.

Mitsubishi Maintenance
One of the best ways to protect your investment is by preventative maintenance. You can find a schedule of maintenance that you should follow for your Mitsubishi in your owner's manual. Common maintenance items include oil changes, lights, tire pressure, fluids, and filters. The schedule that you should follow is also based on your driving conditions (hot, cold, stop-and-go, long drive, etc.). Your warranty can be compromised if you can not show proof of regularly scheduled maintenance.

Mitsubishi Warranty Repairs
Repairs should be done by a franchised Mitsubishi dealer when possible. This is to ensure full reimbursement of the parts under repair. The dealership will not necessarily use new parts. It is possible that refurbished or used components will be used. If your vehicle has broken down and it is not possible to use a Mitsubishi dealership, then exceptions can be made.

Aftermarket Parts
While it is common to install aftermarket components such as radios, alarms, and remote starters, it is best to check your warranty documentation. Mitsubishi warranties do not protect aftermarket parts or any parts that fail because of them. If you install aftermarket parts, understand that their may be consequences resulting from their failure.
